2026 Durango & Silverton Charter

The ES&D enters reality this February on the Durango & Silverton Railroad! We invite you to join us on the first ever Hyce Trains Charter! On February 22, 2026 Rio Grande southern locomotive number 20 will be taking four coaches and one Caboose to cascade canyon and back.

Come ride with 140 of your fellow ES&D crew members. Hang out with Hyce and other assorted quarters of an idiot. Tickets include a box lunch, a swag bag with a shirt, two drink tickets, and multiple photo runbys. 

We are in the process of getting room blocks and a charter bus to and from Denver. We are working on a room block and are now taking reservations for a charter bus. The bus will leave Denver Union Station 2/20/25 and return to Denver on 2/23/25. This will allow you to have Saturday as a free day.  

The train will depart from the Durango Depot at 10:15am on Sunday February 22nd 2026. Cancelations are accepted without penalty until January 22nd 2026.  We are in the process of arranging an optional dinner later that evening. 

Conductor and Engineer discounts do NOT apply.
